A big welcome from the P&C to all parents and citizens, especially those parents and carers of students who have just started Year 7.
Our meetings are every third Wednesday of the month at 7.30pm in the Staff Common Room.
But what can being a member of the P&C do for you? The answer is, plenty!
- You can raise any question or issue you wish to discuss with the principal and deputy principal, who attend every monthly meeting.
- You will hear about and be able to give your opinion on matters that don't always appear in the
- newsletter.
- You will be eligible to sit on the panels that select the teachers who will teach your children.
- You can sit on the school Finance Committee and on the Uniform Advisory Committee.
- You will gain valuable insights into what goes on in classrooms from the highly informative presentations given by teachers.
It doesn't matter how much or how little you become involved, every contribution of your time
or expertise counts. Your child will appreciate that you are helping to make a difference to the quality of education at Katoomba High.
