New Transport Arrangements:
The school has been notified by the Blue Mountains Bus Company that the Department of Transport has recently changed their policy on school runs. School buses are no longer permitted to drop students off at venues other than the school. Therefore, the following changes will occur for the Swimming Carnival on Thursday:
- All students who usually catch a bus to school will be brought to school by bus as normal.
- Once at school, a charter bus will take these students to the pool.
- Any student who does not catch a bus to school are to go to the pool by 9.00am as per their permission note.
- At the conclusion of the carnival, students who need to catch their regular school bus home, will be transferred back to school via the charter bus in order to catch their normal school bus.
- All other students will be dismissed from the venue at 3.25pm.
The school apologises for this late information, however we were only informed of the change in policy late on Tuesday.
Any questions regarding the Swimming Carnival should be directed to Mr Daniels in the PD/H/PE faculty.
